Hi. My name is Terry and I am fundraising for my friend Audra Davis.

FRANK CAVAZOS HAS STILL NOT BEEN ARRESTED FOR THE VIOLENT ASSAULT ON AUDRA - PLEASE IF YOU KNOW WHERE HE IS OR IF YOU SEE HIM CONTACT THE SJPD IMMEDIATELY.

Audra is one of the best people I know. She is kind and compassionate and caring. She is the kind of person that shows up anytime you need her and she would do anything in her power to help her friends and probably strangers alike. She is a good person and didn't deserve what happened to her....or the aftermath and repercussions of an already difficult situation.

I'm asking the community to show there support for her tragic case.

At around 3am on Wednesday July 13th, Audra was brutally assaulted by an exboyfriend. Frank Cavazos of San Jose, CA. Frank traps Audra in the space of her open car door. Frank proceeds to strangle Audra. He crushes her windpipe with such force that he left an outline of his thumb on her neck, which is still visible today (6 days later). While Frank is choking her, he is making sickening comments to taunt her. "Don't you like this, isn't this fun B****?" To hear her describe the event, I can't even imagine the amount of terror she felt. When he let's her throat go, he proceeds to tell her: he knows where she lives, wouldn't it be a shame to come home and find her dogs dead. He tells her- your niece sleeps so soundly she won't even know I'm in the house with a baseball bat before I bash her skull in. And you I'm gonna save you for last. Audra pleaded with Frank to let her go, to end this and they could both go home. When it became apparent he was not going to allow her to leave only then did she try to push her way past him. She put her forearm against his throat and attempted to free herself from the car door area. Frank then grabbed Audra and threw her to the ground with such force, she said her head bounced off the asphalt. Before doing so Frank asks her, "are you going to start screaming now?" It was as if he was enjoying the fear she was feeling. Once she had the opportunity, Audra did start screaming. Frank, who also fell during the assualt quickly gets up. He grabs Audra by her hair and quickly drags her 4 or 5 feet across the pavement to the secluded area behind the car door. To quiet her screams, he shoves all 4 fingers of his left hand in her mouth blocking her airway and effectively silencing his victim. Audra struggles to breath and get away. Luckily a friend of Audra's, Christina, drives up at that very moment. Frank let's Audra go and throws his hands up in the air as if he wasn't just violently assaulting a woman.

I'd like to take this time to thank Christina personally. I do believe had the assualt gone uninterrupted he would have killed Audra. This gofundme page would have been collecting funds for funeral expenses instead of emergency relief living expenses. Thank you so much for your bravery Christina.

At this time Frank Cavazos has still not been arrested. Audra is in constant fear of the possibility of another attack that may potentially end her life. She is suffering a great amount of emotional destress as she is trying to process the event. She has sought out therapy and is working thru the trauma with professional.

Audra is an independent contractor that works for a few clients in the area. Because Frank is still a threat to her, she is unable to work. She and her clients (as advised by the SJPD) should limit the possibility of her exposure to Frank. Audra herself doesn't want to potentially put anyone else in his path or in harms way. So I ask today if you are able, please donate so Audra doesn't have to worry about not being able to pay her rent and bills on top of the other traumatic emotional nightmare she just endured. Donations will helo her pay her rent, help her buy her sneior dogs medications, put food in their bellys, pay for utilities and other monthly expenses. if you don't feel comfortable donating Audra is also a incredibly talented artist, you could support her by buying some of her pieces which we will be posting on her Facebook and Instagram business pages this week.

She would never ask for help because she is one of the most independent and stubborn people I know. Please let's show her that her community supports her time of healing from this tragic event. She is aware I posted this fundraiser and thanks the everyone for the overwhelming love support kindness and encouragement she is already feeling. She said that for all the fear and ugly energy Frank made her feel the community has made her feel supported. Her exact words, "It's kinda like a care bear stare.
