Recently, I was involved in a biking accident that has shaped the way I am able to manage my current circumstances.

The accident resulted severed arteries and tendons in my left hand and debilitating physical, financial and mental hurdles that came with the rehabilitation process.

Fortunately, I was able to get emergency surgery that reconnected the tendons and arteries.

My general mobility and mental health were grievously affected as a result of this incident and along with it, my ability to maintain stable work in a sector that has longevity or stability.

Unexpectedly to me, this surgery and rehabilitation will not be covered by the NHS, to whom I now owe the better part of 7000 pounds. I also am unable to receive any government support to aid me during this time.

Circumstances stacked against me, I have unfortunately found it impossible to keep up with the financial requirements that come along with basic needs like housing- and now the electricity has officially been turned off to my unit as I was not able to meet those costs.

I shared this previously, appreciatively raising around 50% of my goal, but having the power recently been cut off, being told it will remain disconnected until paying the outstanding 950 pounds.

Feeling overwhelmed and trapped by the weight of the situation, I'm resharing this and asking for some financial assistance to; get back on my feet, get my electricity back on and regain a sense of autonomy.

Any amount helps and it all adds up.
