Let's Give Lis a Helping Hand
Donation protected
Lis is a self employed hair stylist, she loves to surf and do yoga and be outdoors and she volunteers with San Francisco Animal Care & Control. Bascially she's a bad ass and a great woman! She unfortunatley has a condition called Positive Ular Variance or ulnar shortening (her ulna bone is too long and grates against her other bones creating pain that only gets worse with age... It's called Positive Ulnar Variance. Her job and hobbies hurt). When someone with a regular hourly or salaried job gets hurt or needs surgery, they can apply for short term disability, but when you are self employed you cannot get that. Lis will be out of work for a while healing her hand and could probably use a helping hand to help with her medical bills, maybe to start a self employed disability insurance account for herself and all the lost income she will be missing out on. Lis is one of those people that is hard not to like, she's a lovely woman and I felt like if I could do anything to help her while she's out of work, this might be it. A little bit can go a long way...
