My basement flooded. Allstate says I didn’t have flood insurance so everything in the basement is trashed. My bed, my dressers, my rug, my tv, my couches, and my wooden shelves that hold my precious memories from over the years. Everything wooden is junk now and I need money to get these things back. They were not expensive things, IKEA furniture mostly. But wood and water don’t mix. I just want my life back to normal before this flood happened. I also will need money to pay for a waterproofing company to get the basement waterproofed so this never happens again. So that’s my story. A wise man told me once it never hurts to ask, so I am swallowing my pride and asking for help with this.
