My name is Marshall. I am a hard working culinary professional. My better half in the photo is Ms. Kimbra Lee Sledd. A small business owner, animal lover, and the most honest & loving woman I've ever had the privelege of sharing my life with.

A while back we met and could instantly tell that neither of us were like anybody else we'd ever dated, We fell in love quickly. I am a sucker for a strong indpendant woman, 

This year we started a new chapter in life together. We started making plans for our future together, We make a great team, First though, we planned a trip. A trip to Kansas where I would finally get to meet her family who'd been so anxious to meet me. Flights were booked, time off requested, and we were set to leave on the first day of the new year, 

After a Christmas dinner with my family, Kimbra said she was feeling a bit under the weather. We didnt think much of it as a lot of people had been and were still falling ill in December. After a short trip to Urgent Care a few days later the doctor ordered some blood tests and a chest x-ray. We still planned on leaving for Kansas on the first of January not knowing what the next week would hold in store for us. 

The following Monday while I was preparing to go to work, Kimbra had gone back to Urgent Care to discuss the results of her x-ray. The image showed a growth in her neck that had caused the inflamation of her lymph nodes. We set off for the hospital hoping for better news. 

This morning (1/8/2015) at around 10a.m. after a week and a half of not having any aswers, we got some. 

Kimbra has been oficially diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

We are trying to remain as strog and positive as we can possibly be at this time. The weeks and months to come will certainly be the ultimate test of our strength and will. 

I've set this GoFundMe up to raise money for the impending hospital bills and medical costs that will await us down this windy road. Any and all donations will help and are more than greatly appreciated.
