We are seeking support to help Jim and Miska battle Jim's cancer. Jim, a who wears many hats (spouse/father/teacher/brother/friend) was recently diagnosed with cancer and is looking at a lot of time away from work and his family while he gets treatment. During this time he may not be able to work and the loss of his income will severely cut into the household finances and budget. Jim has a young son, and a loving spouse, who rely on his income and medical insurance which is in jeopardy with the inability to work.

Any funds donated will go directly towards household expenses, medical care costs, and travel to appointments and treatments. Finding the best possible care for Jim does involve travel and the need of accommodations. It will also aid the family in caring for Jim, his special needs son, and disabled mother in law as well as Miska.

While Jim's doctors are hopeful for a positive outcome, the stress of dwindling finances and the potential hardships can greatly impact his ability to heal. He has had several complications and is looking at a longer recovery than anticipated, but doctors are still hopeful he will recover.
