Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, my fiancé Larry is currently in the hospital recovering from a liver transplant. This journey has been both life-changing and incredibly humbling for us. While we are beyond grateful for this second chance at life, the road to recovery will be long and filled with challenges. His doctors anticipate several months of healing before he’ll be able to return to work.

Larry has been unable to work since October, when he first began experiencing serious health issues and was in and out of the hospital. Now, I’ve also had to step away from work so I can be by his side here in Chicago and prepare to care for him full-time once he’s able to come home. He will require 24/7 care for a while, and I’ll be his primary caregiver.

During this time, we’re facing mounting medical bills, travel expenses to and from Loyola University Medical Center, and everyday household costs that don’t stop just because we’re in survival mode. I’m reaching out on Larry’s behalf to ask for your support—whether through a donation or simply by sharing this message.
