My name is Kittana and I'm kicking cancer's ass for the second time. I've rung the chemo bell and now need to have 25 rounds of radiation.

The nearest radiation therapy location is nearly a 4 hour drive round trip. If I drive each day, I'd have to miss more work and can't afford that. The Northern Ontario travel grant won't cover a stay for me because I live 10 KM too close. I've appealed, but the appeal will take up to 6 months and they only cover a portion of the stay, plus I need to eat while there and still pay my mortgage and feed my child. I can't afford this treatment without help.
