Hi my name is Callum,

I am a sailor from Vancouver Island that qualified to sail for Canada at the 2026 North American Championships in the Optimist Sailboat. The premier boat and competition for a sailor my age in North America.

I am stoked to wear the Maple Leaf again, but I need your help. I have to fundraise half of the costs to match my parents commitment. I am trying a variety of means to meet that goal around the training I am doing. Any support that you can provide, large or small, would help me to reach my goals.

I am training hard and leave for a training block with the top 30 sailors in the world in two weeks. I will be travelling to Spain and will sail in Lanzarote and Valencia over two weeks. I expect to work hard and to learn a lot from this level of competition. I am confident it will make me more prepared to sail my personal best at the North American Championships in Halifax this May!
