Help sweet Ava
Ava, a Shiloh puppy was adopted by the Colgan family in December. Shortly after meeting her new family she was found to have parvo and was hospitalized for 8 days. In addition to the parvo the pup has had other parasites which have caused continued bowel issues. On 1/8/2015 Ava had to undergo surgery to correct what turned out to be mesenteric torsion, a result of the infections in the gut. The Colgan's are now awaiting the results of biopsies sent from the pancreas and lymph nodes.
We, as a Shiloh family, know that bringing home a new pup is supposed to be a sweet adventure rather than a constant fear that your pup won't survive. In the 4 weeks that the Colgan's have had Ava the vet bills have continued to accumulate. While none of us can afford a surgery bill we all might be able to trim a corner or two and show these folks what being part of the Shiloh Family means. They are already very appreciative of the online support they have recieved.
