Dmitry Kinakh had a skiing accident on January 15, 2023. He was transferred to Leigh High Valley Hospital on a helicopter where he was rushed to the ICU. There they found that he has a fractured skull, fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, and three fractures in his spine. He was then transferred to Jefferson Hospital in center Philadelphia for further care. The doctors say that his spine is pushing into his spinal cord and therefore Dima can not feel his lower body. Dima is scheduled for a surgery on his spine however he currently has internal bleeding in the brain. They cannot proceed with the surgery until the bleeding is stable. When bleeding has stopped, they will perform the surgery on his spine. Doctors are saying that there is a high hope he will walk, but there is also a risk of paralyzation. This fundraiser is for anyone who would like to help Dima will medical bills regarding his surgery, transportation, and recovery. Please continue praying for Dima, it is very important that the bleeding stops so that we can proceed with the surgery.
