I am updating this as of 04/30/2025. First I would like to thank everyone who donated and shared this, it really helped and made a difference during such a difficult time. Melissa did chemo and radiation for a few months and has stayed in good spirits while she had to experience the extreme side effects from the treatment. Shortly after the few months of chemo and radiation she got bad news that the treatment was not working the way they were hoping it would and she started immunotherapy as well as another round of radiation. After nearly a year of dozens and dozens of trips to the hospital for doctors visits, treatments, stays in the ICU, long days at home recovering, it’s all a lot. I am resharing this go fund me in hopes that it brings some relief like it did when it comes to the bills that don’t stop like the house payment, utilities, medical insurance, gas to get to work/hospital, food, medical bills. Unfortunately, my aunt Melissa has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. This was very, very sudden and she has immediately begun the process of beating this. With extensive medical treatments, doctor's appointments, and the emotional and physical distress this has already caused and will continue to cause, there is not an option for my aunt and uncle to work full time right now. Right now they will be out of work for 3 months minimum and the treatments will continue until further notice.
