Alyssa's Army: In Memory of Desmond A. Torres

When unimaginable tragedy strikes, especially in the form of such a precious life taken too soon, it's essential to come together as a community. With the heaviest of hearts, we are looking to raise funds for the family of Desmond Torres. On Thursday, August 18, at just 27 years old, Desmond was involved in a fatal car accident in Hammond, IN. We hope to cover funeral costs and provide Desmond's six-year-old daughter, Alyssa, with support for living expenses and an educational future.

Desmond was a dedicated and hardworking son, brother, father, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He was the kind of person you'd want in your corner when things got rough, that would drop everything for one of his people. One flash of his devious smile could brighten even the darkest days.
