In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, our beloved Jamaica is hurting. Many of our people have lost their homes, their crops, and even their sense of safety. Roads are cut off, communities are flooded, and countless families are struggling to find food, clean water, and shelter.

But as Jamaicans, we've always been a strong, resilient people. Time and time again, we've shown that no storm can wash away our spirit or our love for each other. Now is the time for that strength and unity to shine again.

I'm asking everyone — here at home, across the Caribbean, and in the Jamaican diaspora worldwide — to come together and lend a helping hand. Whether it's a donation of food, clothing, Furnitures, or funds, or simply offering comfort and support to those in need, every act of kindness makes a difference.

Let's stand together, help our brothers and sisters rebuild, and remind the world what it means to be Jamaica strong.
