Everybody LOVES Chris (Christopher Frierson)!

Late last night (08/25/22), Chris Frierson (everyone's favorite bartender), was hit by a drunk driver while sitting in his car outside of Whiskeys. While he did not sustain life-threatening injuries, they are severe.

First and foremost, we ask for your prayers for Chris and his family. This GoFundMe is being set up to assist with the many unexpected expenses that arise when a traumatic event such as this happens. We all know that insurance only goes so far and the bills associated with an ambulance, doctors, hospitals, surgeries, medication, etc. quickly pile up.

Chris has touched so many lives... he is a son, brother, father, uncle, and friend to many. How do you know Chris? Were you a classmate in Dallas at Longfellow, Greenhill, TC Marsh, or Skyline? Perhaps you met him hanging on The Ave or partying at the Ranch at Tuskegee University? Did he pour you one of his amazing cocktails at Le Meridian, Oak, or Hide? Or maybe you lucked up on meeting him while he honed his craft in San Diego? If you're a recent friend, that means he's probably made you into a whiskey lover at Whiskeys.

Oh, me? My name is Jennifer Scoggins, I've known Chris since we were sophomores at Skyline high school and then we became family while at Tuskegee University. Chris means the world to me, there's no one like him. This morning I gathered with friends as we stood around Chris and prayed for his healing and recovery and the prayer ended perfectly "Lord, we need him." We do, Lord. We do need him.
