JThis page is being set up for Joe Bietka. He is a wonderful husband, father, son, "like a brother", cousin, nephew, coach & friend! He is in need of a new liver. Transplants are very expensive and his insurance company only covers a portion of the costs. Joe will require a lifetime of follow-up care and daily anti-rejection medications, which can cost as much as $5,000 per month.  Even with insurance the co-pays for multiple medications will add up quickly. It is uncertain how much of the anti-rejection prescriptions his insurance policies  will only cover.
It is difficult to think about long-term financial burdens, but we know how expensive it will be to maintain that gift of life!!
Joe is still working to provide for his family, even on days when his body doesn't have the energy to keep going.
Joe is sooo special to ALL of us!! Please help us help Joe make this happen, so all he has to worry about is getting better and continue being the wonderful father and husband to his beautiful wife and 2 great kids!!
