My 14 year old friend, Soot, has been my buddy since my middle-school years. She has been living with hyperthyroidism since early this year. Soot is one of few cats that cannot take the medications available to control this condition as she has a reaction to them. Instead, we are doing radioactive iodine therapy to treat it. It is effective, but costly, so here I humbly ask for help to make my childhood friend more comfortable. She is the oldest cat I've ever had and as long as there is something that can be done to help her, I will not be ready to let her go. Thank you very much for your help and support!
