Dog attack plea. Fight for Remy
Hi. My name is Laura. And I'm calling out to all dog lovers, friends, family, strangers to help me raise money for a young dog who was viciously attacked by a banned XL bully breed. This young dog is a puppy from a litter of my girl Lovi and dad Enzo.
Today, Friday march 21st, my friend, Sophia, was walking to the park with her 6 and 2 year old sons and her beautiful French bulldog Remy 15 months, she is always by their side. Upon entering the park, my friend swiftly diverted when seeing an offlead XL bully without a muzzle. Ushering her kids and dog in a different direction, suddenly this dog appears. This XL bully attacked Remy. Leaving my friend torn between helping her dog and protecting her children.
Remy was picked up but this large dog continued to attack. Mum had no choice but to put her dog down and stand between the dog and her children.
Remy was sadly attacked so badly and left to bleed from her neck as the dog owner shouted abuse and called his blood stained dog away, then drove off in his van.
Leaving 2 young children, a woman and a young dog to suffer the consequences of what was described as a horrific and vicious attack.
Remy's injuries are life changing and if she makes it through the next few days, she will need surgery and after care amounting somewhere in the region of £10,000
As a result of the attack Remy is left with 7-9 cm puncture wounds that can't be stitched in case of infection. So have drains, lots of smaller punctures, she has lost her ear and will suffer with permanent deafness from this ear.
Nerve damage in her leg which needs surgery to save the leg.
The vets states that it's one of the worst attacks they've dealt with and can't believe she has survived it.
But she has, but now we need your help. Her insurance covers some costs but not all. Without funding she can't get the treatment needed. Please, if you can spare any money, no matter how big or small the donation, it will all help. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
