Hi,

My name is Cindy. Since becoming permanently disabled in November of 2022, I have been supported by partner Neil, who works as a freelance audio engineer.

Due to preexisting conditions, my disability pension is only $1000 a month, and the current economic stresses our country has been facing have impacted Neil's ability to find steady work. In spite of depleting our savings, and going further into debt each month, we've barely been able to keep our heads above water.

Neil's computer is now over 12 years old, he's no longer able to update his operating system, and it is on its last legs. Without a new computer, we will have no way to support ourselves. We have no immediate family to rely on, no savings left, and not enough credit to replace it.

I am therefore hoping to raise enough money to purchase a new computer for him before his current one dies. We've determined a Mac Mini and a separately purchased monitor is the most cost-effective option.
