Help Paisley Kick Brain Cancer!

Hello Everyone! I just wanted to introduce you to Paisley.

Paisley was first diagnosed on February 9, 2013, at the age of 7 months. She was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumor, better known as AT/RT.
AT/RT is a very rare cancer, almost always diagnosed in children under the age of 3; in the USA, only 30 new cases are diagnosed each year.

Paisley spent 5 months and 22 days in hospital, where she had numerous surgeries, treatments, procedures, a stem cell transplant, and underwent a few different Chemotherapy protocols as well.  Paisley stomped on the 10% survival rate and came out on the winning side. She shocked her doctors and beat AT/RT. Paisley continued to be monitored with MRI scans and monthly blood work visits at cancer care.

During a follow up MRI visit in October 2014, results showed a growth; not sure if it was a new tumor or possibly scar tissue, they scheduled a surgery. On November 17, 2014, Paisley had yet another brain surgery to remove the growth.  A biopsy was sent away to test for cancerous cells. In December 2014, results from pathology came back on the biopsy that the AT/RT was back.

On December 29, 2014, Paisley began her second battle against AT/RT. This time they are going to be doing a combo of Radiation and Chemotherapy, mostly out-patient, with daily trips to and from the hospital.
AT/RT is a very aggressive cancer, and Paisley is taking it on for the second time before she has even had her third birthday.

Her family is so caring and selfless.  Amy (mom) knits items to sell and donates the proceeds to the Children's Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Please help this family, who are expecting Baby #3 (a boy!) in April, to make this tough journey a little easier. They don't live in the city, so they travel into Winnipeg daily to get little Paisley to her treatments. She has already experienced side effects of the chemo drug, which puts her at risk for further complications and more struggles for the family. Any help to raise $ for travel, hotel stays during treatment, care for Jolie, and other support the family might need in terms of equipment is SO appreciated!!

Thank you <3
