Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)

Donation protected
On Saturday 30-May-2026, Logan will take on the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis to raise money for children living with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis — a condition his sister Lois battles every day.

Although the exact cause of JIA remains unknown, it affects around 1 in every 10,000 children each year.
Logan is determined to turn this climb into something meaningful by raising funds for Juvenile Arthritis Research, helping to support vital research and raise awareness that arthritis doesn’t only affect adults — children can suffer too.

For Lois, getting a diagnosis took 18 long months.
By raising awareness and funding research, Logan hopes more children will be recognised and diagnosed sooner, giving them faster access to treatment and support.

JIA is an autoimmune condition where the body’s defence system mistakenly attacks the joints, causing pain, swelling, stiffness, and reduced mobility. It can affect several joints at once and make even everyday activities incredibly painful.

Every step Logan takes up the UK’s highest mountain will be for Lois and every child fighting this condition.
