Holiday Tragedy

What should have been a special time for Hunter, Kelsey and baby Deacon (5 months) has turned into their worst nightmare. Days after celebrating Deacon's first Christmas, while the family was out for a walk, Kelsey & Hunter's home caught fire. Luckily, the fire itself was contained to the living room and everyone was out of the house at the time, however, the entire contents of their home has been destroyed by smoke damage. They have been living in a hotel with their dog and baby and insurance estimates that they will be out of their home for 2-3 more weeks. Every single item in their home needs to be replaced, including all of the baby items they would have just received months ago when Deacon was first born. As you can imagine, this has been devastating to their family, as they had just recently purchased their first home and welcomed Deacon home only months ago. This has already been a huge adjustment for their family, and now this fire has turned their lives upside down.  Kelsey is on a reduced income already being on maternity leave, and while they are going through insurance, this can take months and the upfront costs are adding up, especially right after Christmas.
