Puerto Rico earthquake's! Our home is damaged!!!

It's been a challenging year so far.   Yes, Our home is here in Puerto Rico and it is not safe to enter or live in right now because of earthquake damage. We had a 6.4 earthquake at 4:30 am on January 7th.  We live in and own home on the 9th floor...our main home... but now not safe to enter. We were in our home sleeping at the time of quake...it was the scariest thing I have ever experienced! It was pitch dark, as the power on the whole island went out. Our home shook violently and a lot of damage was done to our condominium... everyone has left to go live in tents or with relatives for now.  We were in a friends tent for first week and then we went to find a place to rent about 2 hours north just to take a break from all the aftershocks happening every day! It has been 7 weeks now and we are all waiting to hear from FEMA to see what they can do to help us with renting somewhere safe and replacing some of our groceries and personal items we lost.  Insurance only covers structural damage and we have a deductable and we don't know yet what they will do... So needless to say... we have been greatly affected financially, but we are keeping the Faith and being positive! One day at a time... thank you for your prayers and anything you can do to help! so sorry that we have to rely on you friends... but FEMA is not here for us. Russ has a hernia and it has gotten worse because of hauling things up and down the 9 flights of stairs... so now he needs to get surgery asap. Well... FEMA is not helping us out, but it is time to start cleaning up and repairing our home here in Puerto Rico. Still appreciate any little help and prayers! thank you blessings from Russ and Peggie
