Thanks for visiting my go fund me page. I hope you like what you see and decide to contribute to my dream. Just Jacks is my food truck that will be selling custom, made to order flapjacks (aka pancakes) served stuffed, topped and roled up like a burrito. As you may, or may not know, food trucks are a growing trend in the food industry and my dream is to take a bite out of it... literally.
Over the last 2 years I have been working hard to perfect this business concept and recipes. I've done a lot of research and invested a lot of my own money to get me to this point. I have worked with business experts and mentors who all agree the concept is great and the business should be a good money maker. I have all my licenses, permits, plans, website and social media accounts ready. I have even purchased a step van (truck) using a 2nd mortgage on my home and all my savings. The next step is to convert my empty truck into a mobile kitchen so I can begin selling my food on the streets of Seattle. I have catered several small events and my flapjacks have been a huge hit. The food truck conversion will cost me about $35,000. I'm hoping to raise $50,000 so I can pay for the conversion as well as other startup costs like commercial kitchen/commisary rental, food products and employee salaries.
Those of you who know me personally know how hard it is for me to ask for money, but I can't make this dream happen on my own. Every little bit helps (even $10). Please share this with as many people you feel comfortable sharing with and that you think might be interested in helping me.
