Justin's Story: Demand Justice for His Life
Donation protected
There’s a long fight ahead for #JusticeForJustin.
My nephew, Justin Diaz, drove to work an overtime shift at LaGuardia airport on February 26. Just after 4:10 a.m., Michael Pena, a drunk and high off-duty firefighter, sped at 83 mph and blew a red light on Northern Boulevard in Queens, killing Justin.
Pena, according to the District Attorney, partied from 6 p.m. on February 25 and killed my nephew the following morning. Two passengers in Pena’s car did not stop him from driving.
We buried Justin at 23 years old. He had just received his degree in aeronautics and was looking forward to a bright future.
Any donation will help in our pursuit of justice against his killer.
That fight for justice is long and costly.
This GoFundMe will help his parents with all legal fees as they move forward to ensure that their son receives justice in our legal system. It will also help with all other related costs, including promoting Justin’s story to prevent this type of crime from happening to another family.
Again, any donation is appreciated to ensure we get justice for Justin Diaz.
