Over the past five months my dad Justin has been in the hospital battling a severe infection that led to a heart attack and a long series of complications. After months of treatment, surgeries, and setbacks, doctors ultimately had to amputate his left leg in order to save his life. 

We are incredibly grateful that he is still with us, but, the road ahead will be long. He now faces an extensive recovery that includes rehabilitation, learning to live with a prosthetic, and adapting to a completely new way of life. 

 As you can imagine, five months in the hospital has created a significant financial burden for him and our family. Funds raised will go toward rehabilitation, mobility equipment, home modifications, and helping him regain his independence as he begins this next chapter.
