As many of you may know, Justin has been in Willis Knighton ICU for the past 4 weeks fighting symptoms of the flu and pneumonia. We recently found out he has an underlying lung disease (ILD). Interstitial Lung Disease is a condition that causes inflammation and scarring of the lungs. He was classified as a severe case and once damage is done to the lungs it is irreversible and will result in having to have a lung transplant. He is currently in Willis Knighton North on ECMO life support in sable but critical condition. He is waiting for a spot to open up at Baylor for better care and resources. Once he arrives at Baylor the long process for trying to get approved and funded for the lung transplant he desperately needs will be a challenge because he does not have insurance at this time. Justin is only 39 years old and has 4 kids and loving family that he needs to be here for. Any funding will help go towards the transplant, medical bills that he has accumulated and any needs for the transfer and stay at Baylor. Thank you all for your support and continued prayers!
