I'm starting this Go Fund Me for my cousin, Justin. Justin has a rare disease greatly affecting his life. The disease is so rare in fact, that no doctor has been able to figure it out. It has been a long three years of absolute heartbreak and confusion. His ribs break just from coughing (over 20 fractures on his ribs that are not healing). He lives in a constant state of pain with intermittent fever and flu-like symptoms watching his 2 beautiful children grow up from the sidelines. He is a wonderful father, and wants so badly to be an active participant in their lives.

Justin has been to the Mayo clinic three times now, has had portions of his ribs taken out twice for testing, and has been to several specialists in Oklahoma. Not one doctor has an answer. They have ruled out cancer, sarcoidosis, osteoporosis, and leukemia. Meanwhile he has lost 38 pounds, down to 140 pounds from 178. He cannot stand for long periods of time and cannot work. Justin's wife, Sara, now works two jobs to support the family.

Justin may be broken in body, but not in spirit. Despite his worsening condition, he maintains a positive attitude and has started taking IT classes from home in cyber and information security. He wants to be the best example he can for his children regardless of his condition.

The unknown is the most frustrating aspect of this illness. If we don’t know the problem, we cannot know the solution.  In fact, Justin has been trying for a couple years to obtain Social Security Disability but since his disease is unknown, they have yet to approve it. 
Justin needs help. The family needs help. The money donated through Go Fund Me will be used to support this family while they search for an answer.
