On Wednesday, May 17, the townhouse in Burke, VA burned due to a sudden electrical fire.  My girlfriend, Jessie had already left for work, but her brother, Joey, myself and our friend Emily had to escape from the burning building.  Joey has significant burns on his hands and smoke inhalation and is still hospitalized.  Emily and I jumped from the second-floor windows.  Unfortunately everything in the house was lost.

Thank you for your love and support. It has really made this trying day easier to get through. From those close to us and those who have come from our past, every one of you have really cemented yourselves in our hearts.

We ask only for kind support as we try to move past this devastating event. Please let us know if there is anything you can do. I'd like to thank my company for getting us housing for the next month and for those who have graciously donated to help us recover.

Those who got to know our wonderful pets I'm glad you got to be part of their lives. Through our best efforts we tried to save them but unfortunately Comet, Buttercup, and Coco did not survive the fire. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
