Justin's fight with Cancer

Hi, my name is Jaeleen, and I set up this fundraiser to help my sister and her family take care of my nephew Justin's medical expenses. My sister Veronica, brother Tim and their daughter are going through a rough time as their son and brother Justin was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of cancer that resides within the bones. No parent should ever have to go through this, let alone a 9-year-old boy.

A little back story:

About two-three weeks ago, my nephew woke up from sleep due to unbearable pain and swelling around his shin area right below the knee. His mother took him to get checked, doctors thought he may have just bumped into something, and his shin may be a bit bruised. A recommendation was given to ice his shin to bring the swelling down, and off they went. To everyone's surprise, the doctors were wrong. Fast forward, my nephew's leg is swollen, red and hot enough for the school nurse to recommend taking him to the ER to ensure it is not an infection his body is trying to fight. From there, one doctor led to another and another, which led to the confirmation that my happy, energetic, brilliant nephew was now fighting Cancer. Due to the type of Cancer he is fighting, my nephew can no longer run, play sports or do any physical activity that may cause breakage in his bones due to the Cancer eating away at them. With the back-to-back appointments and recent surgery, Justin's morale and holiday spirit are dampened by this sudden change in his life. He is a fighter, and we need your help to help him win!

Please help my family get my nephew the treatments he requires to give him a chance to grow, be happy, and live life as he should. We are not asking you for everything you have; we are just asking that you take the time to give him a chance at being himself again, one step at a time.
