Over the past few months, many of you have been following along with my epilepsy journey, and I wanted to share a little update. The last four to five months have been incredibly challenging, and I'm still in the middle of testing and studies as my doctors work towards the next step, phase II surgery.

I continue to experience auras and days where my brain doesn't feel like it's working the way it should. Some days are harder than others, but I'm taking it one step at a time and doing my best to keep moving forward.

Right now, I have a WADA test, along with the first procedure in this phase, an SEEG (stereoelectroencephalography). This is a minimally invasive surgery that will help pinpoint exactly where my seizures are starting in my brain. The results will guide my doctors in determining the best path forward, whether that's a stimulator, a cranial resection, or an ablation.

This journey has not been easy, but I haven't faced it alone. I'm so incredibly grateful for everyone who has checked in, offered support, or simply kept me in their thoughts and prayers. It truly means more than I can put into words.

I want to say a special thank you to my husband, Vincent, who has been by my side through every step of this. I feel so lucky to have him, along with such an amazing circle of family, friends, coworkers, and patients who continue to lift us up during this time.
