Hi Friends!

If you know me well you know that I'm very passionate about environmental protection and conservation.  This October I'll be joining Maker Corps  and the Surf for Life  foundations on a volunteer trip to Bali to build OpenROV  underwater drones to research and monitor coral reef health.
Coral reefs make up only 1% of the marine environment but is home to over 25% of all known fish species.  These incredibly important biodiverse ecosystems are dying at a rapid rate - 27% of all coral reefs have already died and at the current rate, 60-90% of the world's reef will die within the next 30 years.



This is where you come in!  As a volunteer on the trip, I'm tasked with raising $3,600 to fund the research equipment that will improve our knowledge of how coral reefs are being impacted by shifting environmental conditions.
