Justin's Alligator Bite
Donation protected
On Saturday night, August 17th, during an alligator hunt, while attempting to land a large gator, Justin was bit by the alligator on his right hand. Due to his own quick thinking and the help of his friends, he was able to quickly place a tourniquet on himself, initiate the 911 system and drive his boat back to the ramp where first responders were waiting to assist. Justin was airlifted to Melbourne and ultimately on to Orlando Regional Medical Center. (Like the survivor he is).
Over the last few days, Justin has undergone three surgeries to clean the wound, repair damaged tissue, replace missing and broken bones, and reconnect tendons and ligaments. While the doctors are doing everything they can to save his hand, the next few months of recovery will be extremely difficult and intensive for Justin and his family. Justin will need to cover the medical bills that his insurance will not; as well as help support his family during his long road to recovery.
Despite all of this, Justin has maintained his good sense of humor and postitive attitude. Right now, his family is focused on taking care of Justin, and this is your opportunity to help Justin with his speedy recovery. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. Justin is an amazing person. Any little amount will help. Thank you so much!
