Justine and Ben's House Fire Relocation

Hey y'all, on the evening of Jan 21, 2023, Justine and Ben's home in Asheville, NC went on fire. We are incredibly grateful everyone made it out safely, but unfortunately Justine's beloved cat Cleo passed from the incident. These humans are amazing community members and have lost a tremendous amount.

I am hoping to raise at least a fraction of the money that will help cover relocation fees as well as items lost from the fire. Currently, two cars are unable to be used, and many items that remain are unusable due to carcinogenic smoke. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

This was not only their home but a center of community and love. Much will be missed from this, and now we hold the home and Cleo the cat in our hearts, and our fondest memories. Cleo was not only a beloved animal but Justine's best feline friend. We send so many healing thoughts to Justine, for not only losing all her belongings but her best friend as well.

It is intended that the funds raised here will be divided equally between the two housemates.
