Justin A. Capers, MPAS, PA-C became a Physician Assistant (PA) in 2005. It was a lifelong dream of his to practice patient-centered medicine from infants to adults. His passion and specialty was neurosurgery but his skilled hands and deep compassion to heal transcended all specialties. Justin left us on November 30, 2015 to practice medicine in heaven but his gifted hands and brilliant mind will remain an inspiration. 

We ask that you direct any donations in lieu of flowers to our fund that will used to establish a scholarship fund to support students entering Physician Assistant studies with financial hardships but with the gift and passion that Justin had. 

Justin continued to share and teach great medicine while in the hospital to include the ICU. He loved what he called "pimping the care Team". His mantra was "when in doubt, examine the patient" which guided him in his patient support. 

In addtion to his love and deep passion for medicine, Justin was an avid skiier, a connoisseur of practical jokes, a friend and supporter to many, deeply committed to animal rescue, and always open to new adventures and points of view. He loved his brother, amazing nephews, and his many "brothers from another mother", His adventure is not earth bound now but his spirit will continue with your contributions.
