On July 14th, 2015, Justin was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma at MD Anderson in Houston after suffering with paralysis and pain in his face for nearly two years. The cancer had spread throughout the left side of his head and metastasized to his liver.

Justin is a fighter, and for the next several months he underwent numerous radical surgeries, radiation therapy and chemotherapy until, in March of 2016, he was finally seemingly cancer-free.

Unfortunately ACC is also a fighter, and on July 1st, 2017, he and his wife Nikki learned that the cancer has returned to his liver, in a place where it can’t be surgically removed. As a result, his doctors have a plan to once again use radiation treatments, this time in the hopes of saving of his liver.

As he has twice in his life already, Justin is ready to fight back and destroy his cancer! However, his and Nikki’s expenses are going to add up quickly. In addition to astronomical medical bills (even with insurance), Nikki will need to take time off of work as they stay in Houston for treatments, Justin has already lost work time over the past month and will continue to do so, and the daily transportation to and from MD Anderson will add up as well.  

Any amount of money that you are able to gift Justin and Nikki would take a small amount of this burden off of their backs, and allow them to focus on fighting. Justin and Nikki have devoted their lives to each other and to their arts. They have always been true to themselves, and while it has left their hearts full, it has not been as kind to their bank accounts. This is where they need the support of family, friends, and anyone with an open heart. Please help Justin destroy cancer…again!
