Justina Tice

It is with great sadness to announce the recent passing of our dear friend, Justina Tice. Just as quickly as her family got Justina home and settled with hospice, the Lord decided He was ready to bring her home. Justina passed into heaven on March 6th, 2024, surrounded by those she loved.

Justina was diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer a little over a month ago. She had surgery to remove her uterus and the cancer. The doctors were confident they got it all, and she was going to start chemo. Through very unfortunate events, and one obstacle after the other - her journey had taken a quick and drastic turn. The cancer came back too quickly to be treated. She was brought home yesterday with hospice care to rest and be in the comforts of her own home. Within a few hours of being home, she collapsed and went to be with Jesus. Our hearts are broken, but Justina really enjoyed everyone who called/texted/visited. Those moments meant a lot to her.

As friends of Justina, I'm sure you can attest she was a loving person who cared deeply for her friends and family. Her vibrant and welcoming personality was able to befriend anyone she met, so it comes to no surprise that she had a wide range of friends she regularly kept in touch with. Her love for the Lord was exemplified in every aspect of her life. She was unbelievably snarky, funny, and caring. She was always there to lend an ear or a hug to those she cared about, and had the uncanny ability to remember distinct details about you to make you feel special.

This GoFundMe is being established to assist the family with funeral expenses, pay for medical bills, or any other opportunity the family could use it for during this difficult time.
