Justin's Mitzvah Project

As part of becoming a man, my bar mitzvah has inspired me to help others in need.   I've always had a special place in my heart for animals and have decided to give back to Dog Tales.  Dog Tales is a world-renowned dog rescue and horse sanctuary located in King City.  Their focus is to help neglected and abused animals to heal and be rehabilitated while they wait for their "fur"ever homes. They provide all the medical care, love and training needed to recover from their traumatic past.  Most of their horses are rescued directly from auction, where they would have been slaughtered for meat.  These horses are now able to live their lives freely on 50 beautiful acres of rolling hills and with endless amounts of love (and carrots!)
What I most love about the dog shelter space is the over sized rooms they provide with the comforts of a home while they wait to be adopted.  Beautiful furniture, mirrors, beds and decor are set up for these rescue dogs within their individual spaces.  All dogs ready for adoption come spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.  
Dog Tales is a non-profit organization and all donations go towards:

1. The rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of animals who have been neglected, abused, and abandoned across Canada and abroad.

2. Vet costs which include animals who are suffering from injury or illness and need immediate medical treatment.

3. Other vet costs such as vaccinations, neutered/spayed etc.

4. Food and more.

Please consider bringing blankets, water bowls and toys to my bar mitzvah that will be placed in a special box and I will deliver them personally to the animals in need!
