On Monday morning December 19, Justin was tying a chain on the top of a fiberglass tank. The tank gave way under his feet and he fell into the tank that contained concentrated hydrochloric acid. Justin fell head first, hit his shoulder and inhaled the fumes of the acid. The side was punctured by a skid steer and Justin was pulled out.
Justin was taken by ambulance to Abilene and then later flown to Lubbock.
He is currently in the ICU burn unit for inhalation and chemical burns. The major concern is the damage to his lungs by the acid.
He is sedated and on a ventilator until his lungs can function independently. He has also been put on dialysis.
Please pray for Justin’s complete healing and recovery. Also pray for Nikki and family who haven’t left his side.
