Justin was involved in a motorcycle accident last Saturday afternoon, February 12th. The injuries he suffered were severe and despite the best efforts of the hospital staff, the decision was made to amputate his leg above the knee. We are so relieved and grateful that Justin survived the accident, but there are harsh realities ahead for him, both physical and emotional.
Although Justin is only 32 years old, he has worked diligently to provide for his family to allow Taylor to stay home with their young daughter, Willow (3yrs old). The nobility of this is admirable, but now Justin and his family are faced with a short-term future without any income. Compounding this problem are the immediate and ongoing costs of medical care.
As Justin’s family and friends try to come to terms with this shocking incident, Justin’s is devoid of self-pity and only concerned with his family’s future.
Justin and his family’s journey to recovery is only starting. Justin will need help, but only the kind of short term financial support that will allow him to get back to doing what he loves – providing for his family and living life to its fullest.
Thank you to everyone for your love, support and prayers during this difficult time.
