Justin & Krista DesMarais

Hi! We are fundraising to help Krista while Justin DesMarais is hospitalized.

 

Justin was diagnosed with covid mothers day weekend and hospitalized for the night. He was sent home and then developed an upper respitory infection. Then the fevers started and Krista had to call the ambulance as he was too weak for her to get him to the hospital. He was hospitalized again on May 20th to the 22nd when he went home. Justin then spiked a 103 fever early Monday morning May 23 causing Krista to call the ambulance again. He was once again admitted and was diagnosed with pneumonia now on top of the covid. He stayed Monday to Sunday and was sent home feeling a little better. Over the next few days he would run a fever and Krista would give him Tylenol and ibuprofen to break the fever. On Wednesday June 1st Justin fell ill again after having a good night and what Krista thought was a good morning. The nasty fever returned and he was weak and feeling crappy again and asked for her to call the ambulance for a 3rd time. He was then admitted and is still in the hospital dealing with fever, pneumonia and now they have discovered he has aspirated. Due to Justin having MS he is weak and that is hindering him to get better quickly. Justin has been on one big roller coaster. Krista has been with him most of her days but also has the girls to look after.

 

As you all know Krista is Justin's caregiver as well and when Justin is in the hospital Krista does not get paid. Krista has been driving back and forth to Buffalo 2 to 3 times a day to be with Justin.

 

If there is anything you can do to help since they do not have income coming in would be greatly appreciated. On top of it all they can use extra prayers!
