Justin Kelsey's Memorial Fund

On Saturday, April 22 we lost a sweet, caring member of our family.   My 16 year old cousin, Justin Kelsey lost his battle with depression.  No drugs, alcohol, or drama-only a teen that had struggled and recently changed medications in an attempt to overcome his depression.  

Justin was a great brother and a funny, caring young man. It is difficult to share his story at this time and the family doesn't want to focus on the event. Hopefully by sharing we can bring more attention to teen suicide. No family should ever have to go through this.

It is hard to even fathom the pain and loss a family goes through when someone so young takes their life.  It's a sad state of the system that, while still reeling from shock one is expected to think of money and how to deal with the extreme costs associated with this type of tradgedy.  We are unable to change what has happened or remove the pain, but I am hopeful that we can at least relieve some of the financial burden.  I am starting this fund on behalf of Justin's father and sisters.  The family has been unable to return to their home and the costs are accumulating. 

All donations will be given to the family to help with final costs, memorial and associated expenses to help them return to their home.
