My Husband Justin and I are Baptist missionaries in Caraguatatuba Brazil. We are originally from The Sacramento area in California. We have two boys ages 2 and 3 months old. We have started a second mission point across town from the first one we started, along with Justin's family. The building we are currently in is great, however it doesn't have the space and layout we need to really take advantage of the whole building and use it the way we need to. We are in the middle of remodeling and building more classrooms for Sunday school. A good friend of ours is with a ministry called Cornerstone builders. They travel the world helping missionaries with their building projects. He came last year to help us get the remodeling started and is planning on coming back in March and staying for 3 months. He is doing the construction work for free but we have to raise funds for the material. Another goal we have is to install air conditioning. Currently we have fans on the walls and let's face it, in summer weather that's over 100 degrees with 98% humidity, those fans aren't worth much! So far we have been able to start the relocating of the bathrooms and building a foyer, but our ultimate goal is to move and expand our stage and build a kitchen and one or two more classrooms. We would also love to be able to ditch the painted concrete floors and put tile down. Any donation made is a HUGE help. The US dollar to Brazilian Real ratio is 3 to 1 so if you donate 10 US dollars that equates to 30 Brazilian Reais! We thank you in advance for your support and would appreciate your prayers!
