As some of you may know, Justin has been in the Neurological ICU in Ft. Worth since the middle of May. He has been diagnosed with Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO). NMO is a central nervous system disorder that primarily affects the eye nerves and the spinal cord. It is also known as Devic's disease. It occurs when your body's immune system reacts against its own cells in the central nervous system, mainly in the optic nerves and spinal cord, but sometimes in the brain. He is currently on a vent, unable to walk, and having trouble with movement and eyesight. He will be in the ICU for the foreseeable future. He will then be transferred to another facility to help further his healing process. Since he is self-employed, he's had no income or medical insurance during this process.
