Hello, I am Justin Hoang and I've been fighting cancer (Rhabdomyosarcoma) since I was 8 years old and it has been a financial struggle for my family. I fought my first cancer for about 6-12 months via chemotherapy and radiation. Treatment went well and it looked like we had beat the cancer and all that was left was to do checkups/scans for every couple months.
I had a relapse again in my senior year of high school which I had to start my second treatment plan that consisted of chemo and radiation again. It seemed like it was treatment was going well and I could resume daily life. Then a couple months later my tumor would start rapidly growing to the point where I would have to do immediate surgery to remove the tumor. My left eye, most of my upper mouth, and half my face had to be removed. I have always felt like I was a burden on my family since I was a child because of my illness, but now because of my most recent surgery I feel like even more of a burden. I started this campaign to lessen the financial load on my family...
Thank you for taking the time to read this,
Justin Hoang
