Justin Grankewicz and his fiancé Rachel Beauregard

Hi everyone,

***I respectfully ask you to keep this campaign completely private from Rachel as she is overwhelmed and needs to focus on her own healing at the present time.

My name is Danica Carlson. I am a close friend of Justin Grankewicz, and his fiancé, Rachel Beauregard. We met a few years ago performing together at King Richard’s Faire, as I know many of the people they call friends and chosen family also have.

I am reaching out on behalf of Rachel, who is unaware of this campaign. As many of you know, Rachel’s beloved fiancé, the man who so many of us called a dear friend, Justin, passed away very suddenly on March 14, 2023 after a car accident. They had just moved, and were in the process of planning their wedding and honeymoon when the accident happened. In a terrible twist of fate, Rachel has found herself starting life over again without Justin. She has quietly moved back home with her parents to begin the healing process. However, she will need to buy new furniture and household items for her new apartment when she feels ready to make that shift. Understandably, Rachel has missed work and bills still need to be paid. So we are asking for some help. She also asked me to help her honor Justin, by still going with her to Iceland, as they had planned for their honeymoon. She wants to still see the world, but now for both of them.

Again, Rachel does not know about this fundraiser, as we would like to present it to her with all of our kind regards after the wake on April 2nd. Please share the link and help us make this transition a little bit easier, for our wonderful friend who is suffering after such a great loss. You may leave a note or your regards with your donation as Rachel will be able to read all of them when the account is presented to her. We simply ask for everyone to keep it private from Rachel until that time, so it can be presented as a gift from all of us who loved Justin and her so much.
