On April 8, 2018, our beloved Justin Glen Kellum lost his long battle with depression and PTSD. Sadly, his recent attempts to seek help through the VA Hospital were unsuccessful due to long and complicated administration processes. In the end, we were unable to imagine the depth of his pain.
All of us left behind are grieving this tremendous loss, and the financial burden that has been placed on his wife Erika only adds to the struggle.
It is my hope that donations here will help cover some of the many expenses Erika is facing, and make it possible for her and the kids to focus on healing their hearts instead of worrying about food and bills.
Justin was a man who would literally give the shoes off his feet to someone who had none, even during times when he had little himself.
His heart was huge and he loved his family fiercely and with immense passion.
Many people have shared stories with me of how he helped them through rough times, some even saying he saved their lives when they had felt hopeless. That's the man my son was.
The photo above was one of many happy moments with Justin's 4 children - from left: Trinity now 15, Shylah now 14, Chaise, now 12, Janie now 6.
