Several years ago, we tragically lost a dear friend, Justin Frampton, to brain cancer at a far too young age. Throughout his challenging journey, Justin found incredible support and solace in the services provided by Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC). Their resources not only boosted his spirits but also aided him in a courageous, albeit brief, fight against the illness.

Inspired by Justin's bravery and the critical support provided by YACC, a group of his close friends and former teammates came together to honor his memory in the best way we knew how—through hockey. We started a small hockey tournament, and since its inception, we've turned our passion for the sport into a powerful tool for change, raising over $20,000 for YACC.

This tournament isn't just about playing hockey; it's a community coming together to support young adults battling cancer, offering them hope and assistance when they need it most. Every near-be-slapshot and goal scored echoes Justin’s fighting spirit and raises crucial funds to enable YACC to continue their vital work.
