On the 21st of June 2022, Justin was returning from a fishing trip and was involved in a catastrophic boating accident throwing him from his boat into the water. While in the water the boat propeller struck him tearing out his abdominal wall, causing massive damage to his internal organs, fracturing his hip, and breaking his femur. Justin pulled himself to land before collapsing from his injuries. Justin was rushed to the hospital for life-saving surgery. Due to the intensive trauma, the surgeon could only complete "Damage Control." Justin has been sedated and is on dialysis for renal failure due to his injuries. Justin will need several more surgeries and will have a long road to recovery. Justin is a good-hearted person who has time and again made himself available for a friend in need with nothing more than a smile. Justin is passionate about fishing, loves his family, and his dogs. Justin is an uncle to two nieces and two nephews. He is known as the "favorite" uncle because he is always willing to play games or receive free permanent marker tattoos. Justin's family has not left his side since the incident and could use help covering the upcoming medical expenses, any monetary donation will go toward those expenses.
