Hello! My name is Nicole Alexander, and I am creating this on behalf of my little brother Justin Baker. On Monday, October 3rd, at approximately 10:31 PM, Justin was struck head-on by a wrong-way driver on the SB 101 freeway, about half a mile north of the Santa Maria Way exit in Santa Maria, Ca. Justin sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and scattered subarachnoid bleeds in his brain. Justin is being referred to Stanford for neurological rehabilitation to help aid in his recovery, which is not completely covered by his insurance. Although we are hoping and praying for a speedy recovery, healing time with TBIs can be unpredictable and can take years. Justin will be out of work for a minimum of 3 months, and his neuro rehab is going to be expensive, which is why we created this page. We appreciate the outpour of love and support for our family during this difficult time and will keep everyone updated throughout his recovery.
